The GDG Hackathon is a unique blend of a conference and hackathon. Our goal is for our attendee developers to walk away having learned something new and having built something awesome.
Day 1: 9am - 6pm
We will offer 20+ speakers covering 3 tracks (Mobile | Web | AI & Cloud) running in parallel. They will cover industry leading trends and technology. Between 5pm and 6pm, developers will be able to get into groups and set up teams for our 24 hour hackathon.
Day 2: 9am - 5pm
Our focus for this day is to take the knowledge we absorbed the previous day and start getting hands-on. We will offer (4) 2-hour workshops throughout the day that cover topics from the previous day's speakers. Attendees are free to mingle through workshops and/or spend time hacking away in our Hack Space as they wish.
Food, beverages, snacks, swag, and mentorship will all be included.
Eligibility
Besides a passion for building awesome things, please bring your laptop with you in order to participate in the hackathon. Other than that, there are no eligibility requirements. other than a passion for building awesome things.
Requirements
Hackers will be building anything their heart desires that demonstrates an innovative use of Firebase.
